Breaking Bad Episode 22: Caballo sin Nombre

Walter White is arrested after a traffic stop escalates when he angrily snaps at an officer over a cracked windshield, leading to him being pepper-sprayed and taken into custody until Hank Schrader retrieves him. Afterward, Walt attempts to reconcile with his estranged wife Skyler, telling her he has separated from her and that he wants to return home, but she refuses to let him back in. Walt Jr. (now calling himself Walter Jr. again) becomes furious at Skyler for keeping his father away and lashes out at her during dinner.

Walt tries to appease Skyler by bringing pizza to the house, but she rejects it; he then throws the pizza onto the roof where it lands in plain sight. When Skyler continues to deny him entry, Walt breaks into the house to forcibly move back in, unaware that Mike Ehrmantraut—hired by Saul Goodman to monitor the Whites—is installing surveillance equipment inside.

Meanwhile, Jesse Pinkman, fresh out of rehab, visits his old home and discovers his parents have renovated it and put it up for sale. Offended that his father won’t let him see the property, Jesse enlists Saul’s help to buy the house anonymously. Saul offers Jesse’s parents $400,000 cash for their $875,000 home, threatening to reveal that the house previously contained an undisclosed methamphetamine lab unless they accept. The parents agree, and Jesse moves in, gloating as he takes possession.

Skyler resumes working for Ted Beneke, prioritizing his safety over her own legal risks.

Elsewhere, two mysterious men—Leonel and Marco Salamanca, known as the “Cousins”—visit their uncle Hector Salamanca at a retirement home following Tuco’s death. Hector gives them Walter White’s name as the person responsible for Tuco’s betrayal and death. The cousins locate Walt’s house and prepare to kill him with an axe while he is in the shower. However, Mike observes them and texts Gus Fring, who sends a message to the cousins prompting them to leave before they can act.
