Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Episode 63: The Hashira Unite

The episode opens on a quiet, moonlit night at the Ubuyashiki mansion, where the Demon Slayer Corps’ leader waits in the darkness as Muzan Kibutsuji suddenly arrives to meet him. The two speak face-to-face for the first time in the episode, with the leader calmly confronting Muzan while Muzan remains cold and self-assured.

The conversation quickly turns tense as the leader speaks about Muzan’s past, his actions, and the cost they have imposed on the Ubuyashiki family. Muzan dismisses his words and continues to act as if he is certain of his own future, while the leader remains composed and determined.

As this exchange unfolds, the Demon Slayer Corps reacts to the danger and rushes toward the mansion, but they are still far away when the situation reaches its breaking point. The leader has already prepared for this outcome, and the confrontation ends in a massive explosion that engulfs the mansion and its grounds, leaving the leader and much of his family dead while severely disrupting Muzan.

Immediately afterward, the Hashira arrive and try to take advantage of the chaos, but Muzan is not defeated. The remaining portion of the episode shows the Hashira attempting to restrain and attack him, only for him to respond with overwhelming power and the battlefield opening into the Infinity Castle, scattering the Demon Slayer fighters and setting up the next stage of the conflict.
