Full recap
Boyd follows a mysterious shackled man in a confined underground room, where the man begs Boyd to kill him and points him toward a disturbing sight of skeletons chained to the walls. At the same time, a tense night unfolds in the diner as the townspeople and the new bus arrivals wait for sunrise, with everyone on edge and trying to survive the night.
Under the collapsed Matthews house, Jim and Tom struggle to keep a frightened bus passenger, Brick, quiet while he panics and cries for help. Brick wakes up, starts shouting, and the noise draws danger closer. In the diner, the newcomers and residents are increasingly unsettled as tempers and fear rise.
Elsewhere, a bus passenger threatens the others, and the chaos around the new arrivals continues to spread through town. Victor and Tabitha spend the night trying to stay safe in a trailer, while the situation in town remains unstable. The episode keeps cutting between these separate crises, building toward sunrise as everyone tries to make it through the night.
As dawn approaches, the danger beneath the house escalates further. A creature attacks Tom, and the aftermath of the night becomes clear once the sun comes up. The episode ends with the town still shaken by the violence and uncertainty that followed the arrival of the bus passengers and the events underground.
