FROM Episode 25: The Light of Day

A town meeting turns tense as residents argue over Boyd’s leadership, Randall’s survival, and the worsening situation in Fromville. Meanwhile, Victor is forced to confront a painful part of his past when he comes face to face with his father, and Tabitha continues pushing toward answers about the bottle tree and the lighthouse.

Boyd and Donna find Randall alive after the previous episode’s attack, and Marielle works to stabilize him. Randall is furious at Boyd for leaving him behind, and that anger deepens the strain already forming around Boyd’s judgment. The town’s frustration comes to a head during a public meeting, where people openly question how Boyd is handling the crisis and how safe the settlement really is.

Elsewhere, Victor is taken to his old room and has to process the shocking return of his father Henry, whom he had believed lost to him for years. Victor does not immediately accept the situation, and the reunion is uneasy rather than emotional. The episode uses this encounter to force Victor back into memories he has long tried to avoid.

Tabitha remains focused on the mystery surrounding the faraway trees and the lighthouse, continuing her search for a way to understand where they are and what the place is doing to people. Julie is also dealing with her trauma, while the broader town atmosphere becomes increasingly unstable as people argue, panic, and lose confidence in the group’s ability to protect them.

The episode also includes a harsh reminder of how dangerous the place is: Dale makes a reckless decision involving a faraway tree and dies in a gruesome, accidental-looking way after ending up trapped inside the concrete wall of an abandoned pool.
