Game of Thrones Episode 42: The House of Black and White

Arya arrives in **Braavos** and goes to the **House of Black and White**, where the doorkeeper refuses her entry at first. After she spends time on the steps outside, he returns, brings her inside, and changes his face to look like Jaqen H’ghar; he then tells her she must become **“no one.”**

In **King’s Landing**, Cersei receives a threatening message from **Dorne** about **Myrcella’s safety**, which deeply alarms her. Jaime vows to go after Myrcella himself, and later meets Bronn to begin making plans for the journey.

At **the Wall**, Stannis offers Jon Snow a chance to be legitimized as a Stark and made **Lord of Winterfell**, but Jon does not immediately accept. The Night’s Watch then holds a vote for **Lord Commander**, and Jon is elected by a narrow margin.

On the road, **Brienne** and **Podrick** run into **Sansa Stark** and **Petyr Baelish** at an inn. Brienne asks Sansa to come with her, but Sansa refuses, and when Littlefinger’s men try to seize Brienne, she fights them off and escapes with Podrick.

Across the Narrow Sea, **Tyrion** and **Varys** travel by sea toward **Volantis**.

In **Meereen**, Daenerys continues dealing with unrest after the struggle with the **Sons of the Harpy**. She orders a public execution of **Mossador**, and the killing sparks a violent riot between freedmen and masters.
