Hunter x Hunter Episode 113: An x Indebted x Insect

After a large creature's destruction of the central staircase, the group of invaders is separated. Gon, Killua, and a creature disguised as a flying ant proceed toward the throne room and an elevator, respectively. Meanwhile, Knuckle, Meleoron, Shoot, and Morel deal with the enraged large creature. Morel intensifies the smoke in the room with his own smoke, using it to conceal himself and the others. Shoot is injured, his right leg broken from the large creature's previous attack.

From the smoke, Morel steps forward to confront the large creature and sends smoke puppets as a diversion. The distraction works as a smoke puppet attacks with Morel's giant pipe. The large creature directs its attack at the smoky Morel, and by the time it realizes its mistake, an invisible Knuckle and Meleoron attack it from the side. With his right leg broken, Shoot uses one of his levitating hands to stand on and move, while his other two hands simultaneously attack the large creature to divert its attention again. Shoot does this to retrieve Morel's pipe and deliver it to him. Morel mentally thanks his students for their assistance and then sets off towards the throne room.

Meanwhile, the creature disguised as a flying ant, Gon, and Killua head toward the throne room where they expect to find the King. On their way, Killua catches a glimpse of two ant soldiers near the elevator where the disguised creature is headed. Acting on impulse, Killua changes course and takes out his yo-yos to attack. Surprised by his own actions, he becomes confused as the ant soldiers are killed. Only the disguised creature and another ant soldier hiding in the shadows witness this. Killua returns to follow Gon, and once the disguised creature thanks him, Killua realizes he helped a friend in need.

From the shadows, the ant soldier sees the disguised flying ant arrive at the elevator. He is surprised to see the flying ant alive while the two other ant soldiers were killed by the attacker, Killua, who had just left. He concludes that the flying ant is a traitor and is probably following orders from another ant. From two other sides of the room, the servant quarters for the ant soldiers open, and two more ant soldiers exit.

In the throne room, a royal guard blames himself for failing. His loyalty to the King makes him both weak and strong at the same time. He begins to cry and dance, calling himself a fool. He admits his hatred for a human woman, whom he deems to be only a lowly human in contrast to their absolute King. As he leaves, the royal guard sees Morel in the throne room. The royal guard attempts to leave, but Morel's wall of smoke prevents him from doing so. The royal guard sets himself back on the ground and proceeds to use his ability against Morel.

Gon races through the palace and finally arrives on the tower next to the throne room. He sees Morel's smoke ability from afar and knows that neither the King nor another royal guard are there. Then, the King exits the tower, followed by an older man and a very old man. The very old man recognizes Gon and acknowledges him, giving Gon a small smile and pointing behind him, signaling the whereabouts of the other royal guard. Gon understands the gesture and is ready for battle.
