Hunter x Hunter Episode 133: Deadline x to x Live

Palm and Ikalgo hide Komugi underground and decide to use her as leverage, while Ikalgo sends Welfin to deliver a hostage-exchange message to the King: Komugi will be traded for Knuckle and Meleoron. At the same time, Meruem begins to show signs of memory and physical weakness, and Shaiapouf grows increasingly alarmed as his own control over events starts to slip.

The episode opens with Palm and Ikalgo taking refuge in Bizeff’s underground hideout, where they confirm that Welfin and Bloster are in the truck with them. Ikalgo tells Welfin to act as a messenger to the King and announce their offer: Komugi in exchange for the captured Knuckle and Meleoron.

Palm then focuses on how to keep Komugi hidden from Meruem. She reasons that if Komugi is fully covered, the King will not be able to sense her the way he did before, so they move her deeper into the underground storage area and place her inside a wooden crate. Palm’s goal is to keep Komugi out of sight long enough to survive until the King’s situation changes.

Meanwhile, on the battlefield near the palace, Shaiapouf continues scattering his scales and manipulating the humans gathered there. Some of the people in front of the palace begin waking from the trance-like state they had been in, realizing the Royal Guards are no longer controlling them as before. Pouf then manages to hypnotize some of them again and moves on to others.

Elsewhere, Welfin heads out to carry the message, and his route takes him into a tense encounter with Menthuthuyoupi. Shortly afterward, Shaiapouf finds Youpi’s body lying lifeless, a sight that sends the situation spiraling further out of his control.

Back with Meruem, the King demands answers from Shaiapouf and becomes focused on what Pouf is hiding. During their walk, Pouf unexpectedly coughs up blood, repeating the same strange symptom that has already appeared in the King and Youpi. The episode emphasizes that something is seriously wrong with the Royal Guard and that Meruem’s condition is also deteriorating.

The episode ends with the hostage exchange plan in motion and the King’s side visibly unraveling: Komugi is hidden away, Welfin has been dispatched as the messenger, and Pouf is left panicking as blood continues to appear.
