Hunter x Hunter Episode 15: Explosion x of x Deception

Gon finally perfects his technique for taking a specific person's badge. He notices his hands are bloody and blistered from two days of practice. The scent of his blood attracts Hemotropic Butterflies. Gon remembers seeing the person with the badge wounded on their shoulder during the Trick Tower phase. He uses the Hemotropic Butterflies to lead him to that person's location.

Gon finds the person and hides quietly in bushes, waiting for an opportunity. Meanwhile, Leorio encounters Tonpa, who is working with Sommy to steal badges. Kurapika stops Tonpa, and they tie him up, leaving him on a rock with a sign that says "Please do not feed!!!" They then catch Sommy and his pet monkey. Leorio gets his badge back, and Kurapika takes Tonpa's badge, giving them a total of six points, enough to pass the fourth phase.

At dawn, the person Gon is tracking senses someone nearby and walks towards the bushes. Gon thinks he has been spotted, but it turns out to be Goz. Goz challenges the person to a duel, giving Gon an opportunity to act while the other person is distracted. Goz attacks relentlessly with his spear, but the other person dodges easily. Goz collapses from a fatal wound he had before confronting the person. The person acknowledges Goz's desire to die in battle but refuses to fight him, stating that Goz is already dead. Enraged, Goz charges, but he is suddenly struck down by needles from Gittarackur, killing him instantly.

Gittarackur removes pins from his face, changing his appearance, and is revealed to be an associate of the person Gon is tracking. Gittarackur gives the person another individual's badge. With six points of his own, Gittarackur digs a hole and decides to sleep until the final day. On the evening of the second day, the person Gon is tracking begins searching for a target and comes across Leorio and Kurapika.
