Jujutsu Kaisen Episode 59: Sendai Colony

Yuta Okkotsu slays Dhruv Lakdawalla, the most suppressive combatant in the Sendai Colony, breaking the deadlock among the top players. With Dhruv and the cockroach spirit Kurourushi already dead, the remaining strong sorcerers—woman Takako Uro and man Ryu Ishigori—both target Yuta, revealing themselves as reincarnated Jujutsu users from the past.

Yuta keeps his ability to use reverse cursed energy for self-healing hidden, as well as Rika's role in protecting trapped civilians, while facing these powerful foes who force him to go all out despite his reputation as one of the strongest sorcerers. As the battle intensifies, three fighters attempt to open their Domains simultaneously, but they are disrupted by the sudden return of a clone of Kurourushi, reproduced through parthenogenesis.

Ishigori and Yuta quickly defeat the clone together. They then overpower Uro: her arm is torn off and eaten by Rika, and Ishigori finishes her with a Granite Blast, taking her out of commission without killing her.

Now alone against Ishigori, Yuta engages in an intense duel, with the season's theme song playing amid the action. Yuta's main technique emerges—he can copy others' abilities, including those of Uro and others—but sympathy for Ishigori, who craves a thrilling fight worth living or dying for, leads Yuta to prolong the battle rather than end it swiftly.

Yuta emerges victorious without killing Ishigori, sparing him in exchange for his points; Ishigori's pompadour-wearing ally agrees, allowing Yuta to depart with a total of 190 points. As he walks away, Yuta recalls words Uro spoke after her defeat. He reflects on his sense of responsibility to end the Culling Game alone for his friends' sake, aiming to earn 400 points by himself.
