Full recap
Himiko Toga returns to her childhood home and quietly takes in the vandalized, miserable-looking house while remembering how her family once treated her as strange and disturbing. As she stands there reflecting, Dabi arrives, speaks to her in a casual, almost cheerful way, and then burns the house down, leaving Toga to watch it disappear.
The episode then shifts to the villains’ preparations. Spinner is shown at the hideout worrying about Shigaraki’s condition, while Skeptic tells him that the heteromorphs see him as their leader and are waiting for his command. At the same time, All For One’s spies receive instructions to be ready for what is coming.
Back at U.A., the heroes begin moving into action. The evacuees are informed that U.A. is taking maximum security measures, and Class 1-A says goodbye to their families before heading out to Troy, the heroes’ new base. During this departure, the students and other heroes spend time reflecting on the people they have encountered and what they have learned about the villains they are preparing to face.
Several key checks and conversations happen as the final confrontation draws near. Iida, Kirishima, and Bakugo visit Todoroki to see how he is holding up, knowing he may be thinking about Dabi. Meanwhile, All For One contacts the Aoyama family and speaks in code, making it clear that he is expecting a delivery from them.
On the day of the final battle, Aoyama meets privately with Midoriya and explains part of the situation, including how the chaos in Japan is causing businesses to fail and how All For One plans to exploit that collapse. All For One appears, believing he has finally gotten what he wanted, but Aoyama immediately attacks him instead. The apparent betrayal is revealed to have been a setup, and Aoyama openly sides with the heroes, declaring that he will fight for everyone’s sake.
The episode ends with the heroes’ trap springing into action and the final battle beginning.
