My Hero Academia Episode 145: Inflation

The episode opens with the battle at U.A.’s floating fortress intensifying as Monoma keeps **Erasure** active on Shigaraki, but Shigaraki suddenly overwhelms the heroes with a horrific, expanding mass of fingers erupting from his body. Even though his Quirks are supposed to be sealed, his body keeps mutating and swelling in a way the heroes have not seen before, forcing Bakugo, Mirko, and the others to fight defensively against the spreading attack.

Inside the fortress, the heroes scramble to understand what is happening and to keep their plan from collapsing. Aizawa receives a message from Deku saying he has been dragged to a different battlefield on Okuto Island by Himiko Toga and needs a Warp Gate to reach his assigned location, which makes the situation at U.A. even more urgent.

The episode then shifts attention away from the fortress as Deku is shown being pulled to the wrong place after Toga’s interference, rather than arriving where the heroes expected him to be. At the same time, the episode sets up the next confrontations by showing that the battle plan has been disrupted and that separate fights are about to break out across different locations.
