Full recap
All Might’s battle with All For One continues at a desperate disadvantage, with All Might pushed to the brink as his armored support is battered and his options narrow. In a flashback, the episode briefly shows All Might as a child, reading about a hero who inspired him, before returning to the present fight.
Stain arrives and intervenes, using his blood-based Quirk after taking in blood from All For One to paralyze him briefly, giving All Might a sudden opening. For a moment, it looks like the two of them might be able to finish the villain together, but All For One quickly adapts and overpowers Stain, defeating him and taking his Quirk.
All For One then turns back on All Might and destroys the support systems around him, including the armored suit’s protective mechanisms, leaving All Might badly compromised and unable to carry out his own desperate plan to take himself and All For One out together. As the villain continues to dominate the battlefield, he also uses All Might’s helpless state to try to crush the morale of the heroes watching elsewhere.
Elsewhere, a separate fight shows Aoyama and Hagakure working together against Kunieda: Aoyama fires his naval laser, and Hagakure helps amplify it by refracting the attack, allowing them to strike back more effectively. Their teamwork is presented in parallel with the collapse of All Might’s battle, underscoring how much is at stake across the war.
At the end of the episode, the conflict shifts back to the main battlefield as everything appears to have reached its most hopeless point—then Bakugo reappears in a burst of explosive energy, returning to the fight at the last possible moment. The episode closes on that sudden return, matching the title’s idea of one era ending and something new beginning.
