The episode then focuses on the new teams as they prepare, with Class 1-A’s side entering the match under Tenya Iida’s leadership and Class 1-B responding with a coordinated strategy built around Juzo Honenuki’s ability to soften terrain.

Before the match starts, there is a short moment of tension and reflection among the students and pro heroes observing the exercise. Tokoyami speaks to Todoroki about living up to the expectations of training under the current top heroes, while the viewing area shows classmates and teachers reacting to the level of destruction from the last battle.
