One-Punch Man Episode 30: Motley Heroes

The S-Class heroes gather at Hero Association headquarters to discuss the raid on the Monster Association hideout, but the meeting quickly turns tense as they disagree over the plan and who should be in charge.

Child Emperor leads the strategy discussion, laying out the overall assault on the Monster Association’s base and the need to rescue the hostage taken by the monsters. The heroes begin arguing over practical details, including how dangerous the mission will be and how they should handle monsters who were once human. Their discussion is interrupted when Amai Mask, the top-ranked A-Class hero, enters the room uninvited and openly criticizes the S-Class heroes, accusing them of hesitation and incompetence. His comments spark a heated confrontation, with several heroes bristling at his attitude and the room briefly coming close to open conflict.

King arrives and immediately changes the atmosphere, as the other heroes treat him with extreme respect and assume he must have a major role in the operation. Afterward, Amai Mask leaves, but not before making it clear that he intends to join the coming battle anyway.

Back at Hero Association headquarters, the staff and leadership continue organizing the raid and welcoming heroes who have arrived to participate. Bang and Bomb are present, and Bang presses for information about the operation while also showing concern about the mission’s larger stakes. King later meets with Bang and Bomb, and the three discuss the assault plan and how the heroes are being deployed.

The episode then shifts toward the group that will head out together for the mission. Fubuki makes her way toward Saitama’s apartment while thinking about her situation, and she crosses paths with Genos, who is busy with his new upgrades and does not welcome the interruption. When they reach Saitama’s apartment, they discover that Saitama is not there, and Genos realizes his hero outfit is also missing. Bang, Bomb, and King arrive soon after, and the group decides that Genos should remain behind and wait for Saitama while the others proceed toward the raid without him.

The episode ends with Saitama already moving through the underground tunnel beneath a manhole, heading toward the Monster Association’s hideout on his own.
