Prison Break Episode 74: The Mother Lode

Lincoln receives a threatening package containing photos of the people the team cares about, making it clear the Company is pressuring them to keep moving on Scylla. At the same time, Michael and Sara are ambushed outside a roadside pizza place by a Company gunman and barely escape.

Back in Miami, Mahone figures out that the keys they recovered contain computer chips, which means the company that made them, Hold-Secure, may have a database that can identify what the keys open. He traces one lock to Little Havana, sending T-Bag and Self in that direction, while the other lock appears to be near the water, so Mahone and Lincoln head there.

Michael and Sara continue trying to get to Miami and are chased again while hitchhiking on a truck; the driver is killed, and they end up trapped in the vehicle while still trying to flee the Company’s men. Meanwhile, the key hunt leads Lincoln and Mahone to a wealthy estate, while Self and T-Bag check out a church as another possible location connected to Scylla.

At the estate, Lincoln finds a photograph of himself with his mother from the 1970s, and Mahone realizes the picture has been altered and contains a clue pointing to a meeting place. Lincoln follows that clue and meets his mother, who is alive and working with the Company. She asks him for two days to remove General Krantz from the Company’s path, promising that doing so would free Michael and Lincoln.

Around the same time, an attempt is made on Krantz’s life, but he survives with only minor injuries. The episode ends with Lincoln going back to meet his mother again despite her warning, and a sniper is positioned to kill him as he arrives.
