Reacher Episode 29: Bridge

Reacher is trapped in Philadelphia after being blamed for the bodies in the hotel room, and he spends part of the episode trying to avoid the police while the city searches for him. He briefly teams up with his contacts over the phone, and the group figures out that Lila Hoth and Amisha are not victims but active killers who were behind the bloodshed at the hotel.

Meanwhile, Jacob Merrick, Tamara, and Russell Plum go to Anna’s house in New Jersey to recover the missing flash drive they believe she hid with him, but their plan is interrupted when Lila and Amisha arrive and attack them. The chase turns into a shootout along the Hackensack River and onto a bridge, where the two sides trade gunfire and crash vehicles in a desperate attempt to escape or stop the other.

When the drive is finally opened, it does not reveal a clear explanation for Anna’s death. Instead, it contains a single old photograph showing several unidentified connections that only deepen the mystery and raise more questions about why so many people are willing to kill for it.

At the same time, Reacher’s own attempt to escape the police escalates into a citywide pursuit, and he and Green end up in danger while fleeing through the city. The episode ends with the investigation still unresolved and the hunt for Anna’s missing evidence continuing.
