Rick and Morty Episode 13: Mortynight Run

Rick takes Morty flying in the spaceship and starts teaching him how to drive, but the lesson is interrupted when they discover Jerry has hidden in the car and come along for the ride. They drop Jerry off at **Jerryboree**, a daycare for Jerrys, where he spends the day with other versions of himself while trying to adjust to the bizarre setting.

Rick then trades an antimatter gun to an alien assassin, **Krombopulos Michael**, so he can buy time at the arcade **Blips and Chitz**. Morty is disturbed by Rick’s indifference toward the assassination and takes the ship to stop it himself.

Morty reaches the target at the last moment, but his piloting causes a crash that kills Krombopulos Michael before he can fire. The intended victim is a strange gaseous being that later calls itself **Fart**, and Morty decides to help it escape instead of leaving it behind.

Morty and Fart flee across space while government forces pursue them, leading to a chaotic chase and shootout with civilian casualties. Rick is furious and repeatedly tells Morty that the deaths and destruction are the result of Morty interfering in the first place.

Morty eventually gets Fart back to the wormhole it came through, but Fart reveals that it and its kind intend to return and “cure” carbon-based life in the universe. Faced with that revelation, Morty reluctantly kills Fart with the antimatter gun.

Meanwhile, Jerry spends the episode at Jerryboree feeling awkward and infantilized by the environment, but he also finds amusement in the place’s absurd routines. At the end of the day, he is picked up and leaves the daycare.
