Rick and Morty Episode 50: Forgetting Sarick Mortshall
Two crows, broh. These guys are mad smart.
Full recap
Morty starts the episode cleaning up the fallout from Rick’s past adventures by traveling across several dimensions to fix the messes left behind. After finishing his cleanup, he returns to the garage and discovers that Rick has marked the portal-fluid container to check whether Morty has used it, which panics him into trying to refill it with Mountain Dew.
The replacement fluid seems to work, but when Morty spills some on his hand, it creates a small portal in his palm. That portal leads him to a strange man named Nick, who says he has a portal in his thigh and calls it his “stash hole.” Rick notices Morty has tampered with the portal gun and, angry at him, decides to replace him as a sidekick by spinning a wheel that lands on two crows.
While Rick starts bonding with and training the crows, Morty goes looking for Nick and finds him in a mental hospital. Nick explains that he once met Rick at a bar, got too curious about Rick’s portal gun, and was then sent into a breakdown after Rick launched him from a catapult. Morty helps Nick fight off the hospital staff, and the two escape together using their portal abilities. By the end of the episode, Morty and Nick call themselves the “Portal Boys.”
