Ted Lasso Episode 41: Yes & Baby

Ted is dealing with his **divorce papers**, and the episode centers on him struggling to accept that his marriage is ending. Rebecca is preoccupied with the anniversary of her marriage, so she takes Keeley with her on a private jet to Liverpool for AFC Richmond’s match against Everton.

At the hotel, Rebecca and Keeley spend time together and are later joined by Rebecca’s friend Sassy, and the three of them go drinking. Sassy meets Ted at the hotel reception and immediately takes a liking to him. Meanwhile, Ted is distracted by the papers he has been sent to sign, and when Nate starts slipping coaching suggestions under his hotel room door, Ted snaps at him.

The next morning, Ted apologizes to Nate and agrees to use his ideas, but he also asks Nate to give the team a pre-match speech. Nate’s speech is a sharp, insulting roast of the players, but it ends up energizing them, and Richmond win the match 1-0 thanks to a goal by Roy.

After the win, the team celebrates at a karaoke bar. Rebecca sings “Let It Go” and impresses everyone, but during her performance Ted has a panic attack and leaves the bar. Rebecca finds him, comforts him, and offers to take him back to the hotel, but Ted insists he can make it on his own.

Back at the hotel, Roy accompanies Keeley to her room and kisses her before leaving. Ted finally signs the divorce papers, and then he opens his door to find Sassy there, and she comes inside.
