Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Episode 14: The House with the Wisteria Family Crest

Tanjiro emerges victorious from his battle with Kyogai and exits the mansion to find Zenitsu holding Nezuko's box—only to discover a masked Demon Slayer in a boar hide blocking their path with two swords drawn.

Tanjiro confronts the masked Slayer, angry that he's attacking Zenitsu despite the latter protecting Nezuko's box. Tanjiro lands a powerful punch that cracks the stranger's ribs and sends him flying. He explains that it's taboo for Demon Slayers to fight one another, but the masked Slayer, apologizing weakly, decides to continue fighting bare-handed instead. The two engage in combat, with the stranger displaying an unusual, beast-like fighting stance and extraordinary flexibility. When the masked Slayer stretches backward despite his injuries, Tanjiro warns him against it, but the stranger dismisses concerns about his future, caring only about the present moment. Frustrated by this recklessness, Tanjiro grabs him by the shoulders and head-butts him forcefully in the forehead, causing the stranger to lose consciousness. His mask falls off, revealing an unexpectedly attractive face.

After the masked Slayer recovers, Tanjiro and Zenitsu convince him to help bury the victims from the mansion. The group then leaves the mountain with the two children they rescued, who part ways and receive a charm from Tanjiro's crow to ward off demons.

The three Demon Slayers—Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and the masked Slayer—travel together down the mountain, with Zenitsu becoming increasingly loud and obnoxious while the masked Slayer remains aggressive and difficult. By fortunate circumstance, they discover a private estate nearby that serves as a sanctuary for Demon Slayers, maintained by a family with a debt to the Demon Slayer Corps. The old lady of the manor welcomes them, providing food and clean clothes.

While resting at the manor, Zenitsu finally asks Tanjiro why he travels with a demon. When Nezuko emerges from her box, Zenitsu panics at the sight of her but quickly becomes smitten, accusing Tanjiro of carrying her around to "make out with." During this time, Tanjiro learns that the masked Slayer—now identified as Inosuke—is an orphan who became a Demon Slayer after hearing about the Final Selection and decided to participate.
