Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Episode 34: Sound Hashira Tengen Uzui

Tanjiro returns to the Rengoku family estate to deliver Kyojuro’s final words, but the visit quickly becomes tense when Kyojuro’s father reacts angrily to Tanjiro and becomes especially hostile after noticing Tanjiro’s earrings.

Some time later, Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke are still recovering at the Butterfly Mansion when a loud commotion interrupts the peace. A flamboyant, heavily armed man appears and begins trying to take the mansion’s girls away on a mission, insisting that he needs help and acting forcefully enough that Tanjiro immediately challenges him. Tanjiro even tries to headbutt him, but the man easily avoids it and escapes the confrontation by leaping away.

It is then revealed that this man is **Tengen Uzui**, the Sound Hashira, who has come seeking assistance for an assignment in the Entertainment District. He explains that the mission will take place in a city district and that the missing girls were supposed to be part of it, prompting Tanjiro and the others to volunteer instead. Uzui accepts their offer, and the episode ends with the three boys preparing to go with him on the mission.
