Flame Hashira Kyojuro Rengoku continues to fend off Upper Three Akaza and sustains fatal wounds in the process, while the demon heals his own wounds instantly. Tanjiro and Inosuke look on helplessly as Kyojuro is brought low by Akaza.

Rengoku and Akaza’s battle continues after the fiery Hashira intervenes to protect Tanjiro, Inosuke, and the civilians on the train. Akaza repeatedly presses Rengoku with overwhelming speed and strength, regenerating from injuries almost instantly while trying to convince him to become a demon.
Rengoku refuses Akaza’s offer and keeps fighting despite his injuries and exhaustion, determined to protect everyone present. As the clash intensifies, Tanjiro and Inosuke can only watch from the sidelines while Rengoku pushes himself beyond his physical limits.
Akaza lands devastating blows and continues to outmatch him, but Rengoku refuses to let anyone die under his watch. With the battle reaching its end, Rengoku unleashes an Esoteric Art in one final attempt to finish it.
