Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Episode 55: A Connected Bond: Daybreak and First Light
Tanjiro continues the fight against Hantengu. Amidst all his injuries and the Upper Four's skill, will he be able to defeat him? As the battle draws to a close, the Demon Slayer squad must race against time to end the fight before dawn.

Tanjiro, Nezuko, and Genya keep chasing the demon’s true body while Mitsuri continues fighting the powerful transformed enemy elsewhere, buying them time. The group discovers the demon hiding inside a small, tree-like body, but when they cut it open, it turns out to be empty, and the demon escapes again.
The chase continues through the village as the demon keeps fleeing and trying to survive until daylight. Genya, frustrated by how easily the target keeps slipping away, attacks more aggressively, and Nezuko also closes in on the fleeing demon. Tanjiro realizes that the real battle will not end unless they find and destroy the demon’s actual main body.
As the pursuit intensifies, Tanjiro uses what he can to keep up and presses forward with the others toward the hidden core of the enemy. The episode builds to the moment where the demon is finally cornered just as dawn approaches, creating an impossible choice between finishing the fight and protecting Nezuko from the coming sunlight.
