The Hashira, Sanemi and Iguro, along with their comrades head to an abandoned castle on top of a mountain for a mission, while Tanjiro is being treated at the Butterfly Mansion for the wounds he suffered at the Swordsmith Village. Later on, the Hashira gather at the Ubuyashiki Mansion to hold a Hashira meeting, where Muichiro reveals how the marks manifested. Sanemi Shinazugawa and Obanai Iguro are sent on a mission to hunt down a demon and unexpectedly discover an entrance to the Infinity Castle, but it vanishes before they can act on it. This discovery triggers an urgent meeting at the Ubuyashiki Mansion, where the Hashira gather to discuss the new threat and the return of the Demon Slayer Mark.

The episode then focuses on the Hashira meeting itself. Muichiro Tokito explains how the mark manifested for him, giving the others a better understanding of how it appears and what it may mean for future battles. The meeting also reinforces that the Demon Slayer Corps is preparing for an imminent confrontation with Muzan Kibutsuji, and that the organization is beginning its training for that coming conflict.

At the same time, Tanjiro Kamado is recovering from the injuries he sustained at the Swordsmith Village in the Butterfly Mansion. While he is being treated, the broader Corps is mobilizing around the idea that a final battle is approaching, and the Hashira are taking on a more direct role in readying the fighters under them.
