Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Episode 9: Temari Demon and Arrow Demon

Tanjiro and his companions find refuge at Lady Tamayo's mansion, where the mysterious woman and her assistant Yushiro offer to help create a cure for Nezuko's demon curse in exchange for collecting blood samples from powerful demons.

Their safety is short-lived when two demons attack the mansion: **Susamaru**, who wields enchanted temari balls, and **Yahaba**, who controls arrows with supernatural precision. The demons reveal themselves as members of the "Twelve Demon Moons," the most powerful generals serving directly under Muzan Kibutsuji. Recognizing Tamayo as a fugitive, they target her specifically.

The battle unfolds across multiple fronts. Tanjiro initially struggles to comprehend how Susamaru's temari balls move and change direction on their own, making them nearly impossible to predict or counter. He takes the fight outside to keep the demons away from the mansion, instructing Nezuko to pursue the arrow demon while he handles the temari threat. Susamaru escalates by increasing her arms to six and multiplying her temari balls to match. During the chaos, Nezuko loses her leg attempting to deflect one of the temari.

Meanwhile, Tamayo and Yushiro engage Susamaru in combat. Tamayo proves herself a formidable fighter, kicking the temari back and forth with increasing power in an escalating exchange. When Susamaru prepares to create six temari simultaneously, Tamayo intervenes and reveals crucial information: Muzan has programmed his demons with an instinct to kill each other to prevent them from banding together against him. Enraged by Tamayo calling Muzan a "coward," Susamaru loses focus, allowing Tamayo to cast a spell called "Magical Aroma of Daylight" that weakens the demons' brain function and causes Susamaru to inadvertently speak Muzan's name.

In his own battle, Tanjiro discovers that Yahaba's arrows cannot be cut and will redirect his sword if he touches them. He eventually overcomes this by combining multiple techniques with the arrows' trajectory, generating enough force to decapitate Yahaba. With both demons defeated, Tanjiro fulfills his promise to collect their blood for the cure.
