FROM Episode 10: Oh, the Places We'll Go

Boyd and Sara are deep in the forest, where Sara keeps urging him onward even as he grows weaker from spider bites and delirium. Their search ends in a clearing with a strange beam of light and a horn, and the Boy in White directs Sara to enter a nearby tree before she disappears from Boyd’s sight.

Back in town, Jim’s radio tower finally comes to a head when the group completes it during a storm. Jim gets a response on the radio, but the voice on the other end knows his name and warns him not to let Tabitha keep digging.

Jim rushes home and finds the basement hole collapsing just as Tabitha’s digging leads her into a tunnel beneath the house. There she discovers a hidden underground space and encounters Victor, who tells her that the creatures sleep below ground.

The episode then intercuts these events with the town’s other struggles. At Colony House, Ellis proposes to Fatima, and she accepts. Kenny makes an awkward move toward Kristi, but she turns him down because she is already engaged.

The episode also shows the immediate aftermath of the underground discoveries. Tabitha’s dig has brought her into a place that changes everything she thought she knew about the town, while Jim’s radio success turns into a frightening warning instead of a breakthrough.
