FROM Episode 23: Mouse Trap

Kenny leads a group into the forest to look for food while Donna and Ellis try to stop Boyd from following through on a dangerous plan. At the same time, Tabitha is in the outside world, where she spends the night in the basement examining the paintings and then comes up with a startling discovery.

In the town, Boyd is set on using the talismans to trap one of the Creatures, and Donna and Ellis push back because they think the plan is too risky. Fatima also becomes worried about her unborn baby and questions whether something is wrong with the pregnancy.

Jim receives a phone call from a voice claiming to be his dead son, Thomas, who taunts him about Tabitha and asks why he let her go and wanted her to die. The voice also warns him to keep an eye on Julie and Ethan and says they should not be outside so close to dark. Jim rushes outside, finds the children at the barn feeding the animals, and orders them back inside just as Boyd rings the bell to warn everyone to get indoors before nightfall. Boyd notices Jim and asks if he is all right.

Tabitha later comes up from the basement after spending all night studying the paintings, and Victor’s father Henry is drawn into her search for answers.
