FROM Episode 22: When We Go

Jade finds **Tian-Chen’s mutilated body** in the barn and discovers Boyd handcuffed to a pillar and mumbling incoherently, then frees him. Outside, Jim and Kenny find fresh vegetables growing near the settlement, but Kenny’s relief turns to grief when he learns his mother has died.

The episode tracks the town dealing with loss and worsening uncertainty. Boyd is visibly unmoored after the death, and the town’s mood is shaped by the farewell to one of its own. At the same time, Fatima’s condition grows worse, adding another crisis for the residents to confront.

In a separate thread, Tabitha is still trying to get help in the outside world, and she finds assistance from an unexpected ally. The episode also includes Victor speaking with Henry, telling him that the Man in Yellow came to town the same way everyone else did and later began consuming the dead, including Miranda.

Another storyline shows Sara acting on the voices she hears. Sophia gives Sara a task through those voices, and Sara eventually follows through with it.
