FROM Episode 7: All Good Things

A celebration at Colony House turns into a catastrophe after one resident lets a monster inside, and the night ends with multiple deaths, people fleeing, and the town’s fragile order collapsing.

At Colony House, residents prepare for a party celebrating Fatima’s one-year anniversary of arriving in town. Ellis is visibly unsettled and drinks heavily throughout the day. Fatima and Julie talk about the strange irony of celebrating the day someone got trapped in the town, and Donna later gives a speech honoring Fatima and presents her with a dreamcatcher.

In town, Father Khatri waits for Boyd and tells him about the events that led up to his own arrival in the town. Boyd explains his plan to go into the woods, and Khatri reveals that he has locked Sara in the church basement. Khatri also argues that Sara should go with Boyd on the journey, and Boyd eventually agrees to let Khatri and Sara accompany him.

Meanwhile, Jade remains obsessed with the symbols and the book he has been studying. He finds a hidden picture inside it and notices a young Victor in the background. Elsewhere, Jim and Tabitha find some comfort in each other.

Back at the party, Kevin slips away to a bathroom and speaks with Jasmine, one of the monsters. She persuades him to open the window for her, and once he does, she kills him and leaves the window open so the other monsters can enter. Trudy is one of the first people killed when the monsters attack inside Colony House.

As the attack spreads through the house, chaos breaks out and the party turns into a massacre. Julie asks Fatima if she can kiss her, then abruptly runs off and ends up in Victor’s room, where she tries to hide and be alone. Victor and Julie then flee the house together, and Victor leads her into the woods after seeing the boy in white walk in that direction.

Donna tries to save as many people as possible by getting them into a van and back toward town. Fatima remains behind and finds Ellis after he has escaped through a window and injured himself. They barricade themselves in the foyer with the talisman, which keeps the monsters from entering.

Victor sends Julie into a faraway tree, and she emerges in a cellar. Donna reaches Boyd’s place with a group of survivors and tries to get everyone inside, but during the rush Father Khatri is attacked by a monster and has his throat slashed. He dies shortly afterward, ending the episode with the community shattered by the night’s violence.
