Hunter x Hunter Episode 121: Defeat x and x Dignity

Shaiapouf arrives at the room where Neferpitou is healing Komugi and immediately senses that something unusual is happening. He starts asking questions, but Gon cuts him off and orders him not to move, while Neferpitou insists that Komugi’s treatment cannot be interrupted because it is the King’s order.

Shaiapouf realizes he has missed important events while trapped in Morel’s Smoky Jail, and he tries to get Neferpitou to explain what happened without alarming Gon. Through telepathy, he urges Neferpitou to keep things calm and act normal, while also warning that things could turn violent if Gon becomes suspicious.

At the same time, Killua is elsewhere recharging himself by plugging into an electrical socket. He talks briefly with Meleoron, who worries about Gon and the others, but Killua says he has everything under control. The two then split up.

On the battlefield, Morel and Knuckle continue holding off Youpi while Meleoron uses his ability to confuse the situation. Youpi, whose strength has increased dramatically, keeps pressing the attack and realizes that the strange interference around him is making it hard to tell who is real.

As the confrontation escalates, Morel is badly injured while trying to protect the others. Meleoron rescues him by using his ability to get him out of immediate danger, and Knov appears to take Morel away for medical treatment.

Knuckle is forced into a difficult choice when Youpi demands that the ability affecting him be removed in exchange for sparing Morel. Knuckle ultimately cancels it, even though it helps Youpi recover.

By the end of the episode, the hunters’ strategy has achieved one major goal: the King has been separated from the Royal Guard. The surviving fighters prepare to continue the mission against the remaining guards, with Knuckle and Meleoron staying behind to deal with the situation while Morel is carried off for treatment.
