Hunter x Hunter Episode 131: Anger x and x Light

Gon, shattered by the revelation that Kite is dead, refuses to accept Neferpitou’s claim and erupts in overwhelming rage. He begins releasing an enormous, unnatural aura, forcing his body into a drastic transformation as Pitou realizes his power has risen to a terrifying level.

At the start of the episode, Pitou has already been healing itself and then turns its attention back to Gon, saying it must kill him for the King’s sake. Gon, who has been demanding that Kite be healed, reacts to the truth about Kite’s condition with disbelief and fury, and his aura swells until it completely dominates the battlefield. Pitou is shaken by the change and follows Gon outside, trying to attack again, but Gon now moves far beyond the level Pitou expected and easily overpowers it.

Meanwhile, a clone of Shaiapouf appears before Palm and Killua and tries to manipulate them, claiming that Gon will be killed unless Komugi is handed over. Killua immediately destroys the clone, and after that he leaves Komugi with Palm and races toward Gon using **Speed of Lightning**.

Back at the fight, Gon’s transformation completes into a much older, more imposing form, with his aura still pouring out around him. Pitou attacks, but Gon’s movements are so fast and forceful that Pitou is badly outmatched. Killua arrives just as the fight reaches its most dangerous point and sees the transformed Gon standing over Pitou’s damaged body. Even after apparent defeat, Pitou’s corpse continues moving out of devotion to the King and lunges at Gon from behind. The attack rips off Gon’s right arm, and for a brief moment Gon seems to come out of his rage and look at himself in shock.

The episode ends with the forest consumed by a blinding burst of energy after the brutal clash, leaving Killua horrified by what he has witnessed.
