Hunter x Hunter Episode 141: Magician x and x Butler

The fourth round of the Hunter Chairman election finishes with the required voter turnout finally met, but no candidate has a majority, so the top 16 move on to a runoff vote. Leorio’s surprising rise to third place becomes a major talking point, and Killua is visibly shocked when he sees the results.

While the election results are being announced, Killua is driving with Alluka and heading toward the hospital where Gon is being treated. After hearing about Leorio’s standing, he realizes that the situation around Alluka is becoming more dangerous, especially because members of his family are already moving against him.

Killua receives a call from Illumi, who makes it clear that he is involved in the conflict over Alluka. Killua quickly works out that the Zoldyck family is split into different sides: some members want control over Alluka’s ability, while Illumi’s goal is to kill her.

Illumi then assigns Hisoka to delay the butlers while he goes after Killua and Alluka. Hisoka openly asks whether he is allowed to kill Killua, which causes tension to spike immediately and alerts the people nearby that a confrontation is beginning.

Meanwhile, Gotoh and the other butlers move to intercept the threat. Hisoka confronts them first, but Gotoh blocks Hisoka’s attacks with his coin technique and orders Canary and Amane to leave and search for Killua, leaving Gotoh to face Hisoka directly.

The episode ends with the conflict fully set in motion: Killua is trying to get Alluka to Gon, while Illumi and Hisoka close in from the other side and the butlers split up to protect them.
