Gotoh explains that the game is the condition for seeing Killua, and the three agree to play. The challenge is simple on the surface but tense in practice: Gotoh controls the exchange and uses it to judge whether they are worthy of meeting Killua. Gon studies the pattern, carefully thinks through the rules, and manages to win by correctly guessing the coin’s result, allowing the group to continue.

After the game, Gon and Killua are finally reunited. The moment is brief but important, confirming that Killua has left the estate and can travel with his friends again. With that reunion complete, the group’s path begins to split: Kurapika and Leorio prepare to leave the estate and pursue their own goals, while Gon and Killua stay together and look ahead to what comes next.
