Hunter x Hunter Episode 65: Evil Fist x and x Rock-Paper-Scissors

Six members of the Phantom Troupe, Shizuku, Franklin, Shalnark, Phinks, Feitan, and Kortopi, arrive on Greed Island. They are immediately confronted by Razor, a game maker. Phinks senses Razor's power as Razor displays an "Eliminate" card, which only game masters possess. Razor informs them that they must enter the game through proper channels, and if they do, they can challenge him within the game to obtain an item. Phinks states they will return through the front door. Razor then uses the "Eliminate" spell to teleport them off the island, and subsequently uses a powerful Emitter attack to destroy their boat.

Meanwhile, Gon practices his new ability, "Rock," by breaking a large boulder into pieces. Killua and Biscuit are impressed. Gon then attempts another attack, "Paper," which fails because Gon is an Enhancer and "Paper" is an Emitter attack. Gon also expresses a desire to learn "Scissor," a Transmuter attack that would allow him to cut with Nen. Biscuit, while liking the idea of variety, is unsure if it will work. Gon explains he developed the idea from Biscuit's description of the history of rock-paper-scissors, and because he enjoys the game, he used it to create his abilities.

This approach helps Gon increase his power through his emotions. Killua then demonstrates his electrical ability, impressing Gon but alarming Biscuit. She ponders Killua's upbringing but is pleased the two boys are friends. Biscuit decides they should take a break from training when Gon remembers the next Hunter Exam is approaching. The three go to Masadora to find out how to leave the game. An NPC there tells them they can either use a "Leave" card or fight or bribe the chief of the port to sail them out.

They proceed to the dock, where Killua easily defeats the Harbormaster and obtains a Transport Ticket. Gon tells Killua about the Kiriko navigators at the Lone Pine Tree, and he and Biscuit go to train. Killua meets Elena, who takes him to Dolle Harbor. While training, Biscuit and Gon encounter Abengane. They notice a bomb on his shoulder, and he explains how he and many others were tricked by Genthru. He asks them to warn everyone they see about the Bomber and to avenge those Genthru killed if they encounter him. Abengane suspects that a deal Genthru made with Nickes is a setup and prepares for something. At the same time, Nickes meets with Genthru, Sub, and Bara. Genthru demands Nickes' ring to verify if the restricted cards are in his book. Nickes wants Genthru to disarm the bombs first, but Genthru refuses. Nickes reluctantly gives Genthru his ring, and they enter the game.

Elsewhere, Abengane uses his Nen ability, Exorcism, to remove "Countdown" from his body. He throws a wooden doll into a fire, from which a monstrous worm emerges. Nomdieu, Assam, Isaac, and another man meet Nickes and the Bombers at the entrance of Greed Island for Genthru to remove the ability. After Genthru confirms all the cards are in the book, Nickes pleads for the ability to be released. Simultaneously, the hideous worm Abengane unleashed from the fire crawls towards him and eats the bomb off his shoulder. Moments later, Genthru, Sub, and Bara put their thumbs together and exclaim "Release!" Almost immediately, bombs explode, killing the five men and dozens of others, with Abengane being the only exception. However, the worm creature remains on Abengane's body until he can kill Genthru or touch him.

Gon wants to help the Bomber's victims, but Biscuit believes they will encounter him eventually. They collect spell cards to protect themselves in the game while waiting for Killua to return. Killua is seen sitting with the Kiriko, and at their request, he tells them stories about his time with Gon until the Hunter Exam begins. Gon continues to train and manages to create a small ball of Nen while attempting "Paper," a small but significant improvement.
