Hunter x Hunter Episode 74: Victor x and x Loser

Genthru grabs Gon's wrist and attempts to use his "Little Flower" ability to blow up Gon's hand. Gon protects his hand with aura, sustaining only minor burns, which frustrates Genthru. Genthru attacks again, seizing Gon's wrist. Gon tries to protect his hand in the same way, but Genthru anticipates this and punches Gon in the abdomen, causing him pain. Genthru analyzes Gon's defensive strategy. Gon states that a person named Biscuit was right about Genthru. As the fight continues, Genthru grabs Gon again and punches him, but this time Gon doesn't flinch and escapes. Gon counters Genthru's last attack by recalling Biscuit's advice: if Genthru is preparing to use "Little Flower," his aura will shroud his hand; if he plans to attack elsewhere, he won't use Gyo. Genthru immediately sees through this and warns Gon that his plan will backfire, explaining the consequences of being hit by "Little Flower."

Genthru believes further fighting is pointless and tells Gon to surrender. Gon observes Genthru's hands, both now shrouded in aura, and remembers Biscuit's words about this indicating "Little Flower" and the need to stick to a plan. However, Gon devises his own plan and tells Genthru to surrender instead. Genthru approaches Gon, threatening him. Gon invites him on, and Genthru grabs both of Gon's arms, using his ability to blow them up. However, Genthru feels something and realizes he has been hit, his mouth injured. While Genthru is stunned and unable to control his body, Gon charges his "Janken" attack. Genthru accidentally trips over a stone, saving himself from the attack.

Realizing he was saved, Genthru analyzes Gon's move: Gon had not protected his left hand at all, used only a small amount of aura in his right hand, but concentrated a large percentage of aura in his feet to land a hit. Genthru realizes Gon's intensity, and Gon declares he is done being selfish and will now get serious. Gon opens his book, takes out a card, and tells Genthru to surrender or die. Genthru, bluffing, thinks of an idea and offers to surrender and give Gon all his cards. After Genthru's feigned surrender, he hits Gon in the throat, followed by a chop to the back of his neck. Gon immediately blocks with Gyo, and the card he is holding, containing a bottle of gasoline, triggers and breaks, splashing gasoline towards Genthru.

Though he cannot use "Little Flower," Genthru boasts about another, stronger technique called "Countdown," which he claims is impossible to block with Gyo. As Genthru walks towards Gon and sets his technique, Gon suddenly uses his "Janken," but instead of hitting Genthru directly, he punches the ground, creating a pitfall that sends both of them deep down. Genthru considers his situation and finds Gon is nowhere to be seen. Gon slips through a small hole, and a card in his hand triggers, containing a large rock that will crash down on Genthru. Before being hit by the falling rock, Genthru manages to save himself by going into the hole where Gon is. However, Gon, waiting for him, uses his "Janken" and crashes Genthru, despite Genthru's earlier surrender.

With the Bombers caught, they surrender their cards. Gon's injuries are healed using the "Angel's Breath" card. Goreinu reaches Gon but initially disapproves of healing Genthru and the others, calling them murderers. However, he relents after Gon, Killua, and Biscuit explain their reasons. After Genthru is healed, as the three prepare to leave, Goreinu stops them and states he would have given them all the cards anyway before they healed Genthru, as it was a decision made by him and another person named Tsezguerra and his team, including their share of payments from a person named Battera. Gon, Killua, and Biscuit now have cards numbered 1 to 99, with only card #0 remaining. An announcement states a quiz will be held, and players in Greed Island immediately surround Gon's group.
