Hunter x Hunter Episode 73: Insanity x and x Sanity

Goreinu contacts Gon, Biscuit, and Killua to inform them that Tsezguerra's team has left Greed Island as planned. He explains that Tsezguerra's team's cards will disappear if they are out of the game for more than 240 hours, but Tsezguerra left all their valuable cards with Goreinu. Killua believes the Bombers will realize Gon's group has allies when they see that none of the four hold any valuable cards.

Genthru and his team wait for Tsezguerra's team at the starting point. When Tsezguerra's team does not appear before the deadline of 3:05 p.m., the Bombers celebrate, believing Tsezguerra's team never returned out of fear. Meanwhile, Goreinu explains that he and Tsezguerra's team switched 32 of their 96 cards with fakes, and Goreinu now holds all 96 real cards. He tells Killua and the others that he will give them the cards once they have defeated Genthru. Goreinu then warns Gon's group that the Bombers are heading towards Masadora, prompting them to prepare for battle. Gon successfully completes his training by accurately calculating a minute.

In Battera's Castle, Tsezguerra notices a girl's picture on a table and asks Battera about it. Battera reveals she was his lover and, after an accident left her in a coma, he started buying copies of Greed Island to hire players to find a card called "Angel's Breath" that could heal her. He states that after her passing, all of it has become pointless.

After planning, the Bombers confront Gon's group, and Genthru immediately proposes a deal. During the conversation, Biscuit and the two deceive the Bombers, making it seem like they are not ready for a fight. Killua repeatedly refuses Genthru's proposal until Genthru loses his patience. Killua, Gon, and Biscuit immediately use "Accompany" to escape from the Bombers. After using their last "Accompany," Gon's group heads towards Masadora and hides their auras. Genthru searches the area but cannot find them, so his group decides to use "Accompany" directly to Gon's group. Since they do not move, it indicates Gon's group is still there, and this is also the Bombers' last "Accompany."

After another discussion, everything proceeds according to the plan to make Genthru's team fight them one on one. Killua and Biscuit run away from Gon to separate the Bombers. Gon and Genthru's fight begins, and Gon anticipates Genthru's attack, making Genthru wonder who told Gon about his abilities. Gon does not answer and instead proposes a deal: whoever surrenders first will give up all their cards. Genthru is initially unwilling, but Gon swears he would rather die than be a thief, leaving Genthru no choice but to agree. Gon continues attacking, remembering Biscuit's advice that while he might not be as strong as Genthru, he is fast and clever.

Genthru's hit sends Gon flying, and Genthru mockingly states he will not use his ability on Gon. Gon recalls Biscuit's advice that this is all part of the plan to let Genthru calculate his strength, but Gon, being prideful, plans to make Genthru use his ability against him and then proceed with the plan. Meanwhile, Biscuit uses "Accompany" to separate Bara from the others and fight him one on one. Bara asks why she used "Accompany" on him, and Biscuit replies that she is stronger than him and does not want him to be helped by the others. She unleashes a flurry of attacks, but Bara calls her weak. He manages to send Biscuit rolling on the ground, but she tells him she always lets her opponents get a hit in because they usually end up dead. She then transforms into a muscular form and knocks out Bara with one punch. He asks why she hid her power, and she tells him one should always keep their trump card hidden and that she hates that form. She then notices that Bara is no longer conscious.

At the same time, Killua battles Sub and reveals his new yo-yo technique. The yo-yo weighs 50kg and easily destroys a tree. Sub dodges as best he can but is hit. He notices Killua leaving his right side open and kicks Killua there. However, Killua reveals another yo-yo on his right arm and smashes Sub on the back of the head, explaining that he purposefully left his right side open to trick Sub. Killua hits him again and uses electricity, knocking him out. Gon takes many punches from Genthru but never accepts defeat. Genthru realizes Gon's stubbornness and retracts his earlier statement, deciding to use his ability to mess with Gon's mind and make him admit defeat.
