Jujutsu Kaisen Episode 12: To You, Someday

Yuji Itadori confronts Junpei Yoshino at the high school, where a fierce fight breaks out between them. Junpei unleashes his cursed technique, **Moon Dregs**, forming jellyfish-like attacks that pierce Yuji in the chest, but Yuji endures the blows without evading and staggers forward to apologize and ask what happened to him.

Junpei, fueled by rage over his mother's death—which he blames on a curse—repeats bleak philosophies about life's lack of value and the heart being an illusion, regurgitated from Mahito's influence. Yuji empathizes deeply, promising never to curse Junpei and urging him to join Jujutsu High for strong teachers, friends, and to avenge his mother together.

As Yuji reaches out to connect with Junpei, offering friendship despite their battle, Mahito suddenly appears, revealing his manipulative nature to Junpei. Horrified, Junpei realizes the twisted truths Mahito showed him in the sewers, but Mahito touches him and uses **Idle Transfiguration** to deform him into a monstrous, mutated form.

The deformed Junpei attacks Yuji, begging for help before succumbing. Enraged, Yuji punches Mahito, drawing blood, and vows to kill him, recognizing both Mahito and the entity within him—Sukuna—as evil curses. Mahito evades and counters with transforming arms into spikes and long-ranged weapons, piercing Yuji while being cautious around Sukuna's vessel.

Sukuna briefly manifests inside Yuji, mocking the situation by refusing to help and laughing at Junpei's fate, exciting himself over Yuji forgetting their prior vow. Sukuna then tells Mahito to back off, creating an opening for Yuji and underscoring the danger.

Meanwhile, Yuji had earlier reported the school events to Kento Nanami, who tried to intervene but was held back; Yuji evaded Ijichi and acted alone. A new sorcerer, Takuma Ino, appears briefly alongside Nanami. Nanami arrives at the last moment, assesses the fight quickly, and identifies Yuji as key to defeating Mahito.
