Jujutsu Kaisen Episode 13: Tomorrow

Yuji and Nanami team up against Mahito, exchanging fierce blows as the sorcerers coordinate to create openings and exorcise the curse quickly. Mahito spawns an eye on his right palm and shapeshifts his left arm into a blade, then transforms into a spiky ball that backfires when Yuji and Nanami attack from both sides; they notice his cursed energy buildup before transformations.

Mahito spits out three transfigured humans to distract Yuji, betting on his reluctance to kill people, but Yuji dispatches them and rejoins Nanami to overwhelm Mahito with rapid strikes, leaving no time for shapeshifting. Pushed to desperation on the edge of death, Mahito activates his Domain Expansion, "Self-Embodiment of Perfection," trapping Nanami inside a realm of intertwined hands while excluding Yuji.

Nanami removes his sunglasses, declares no regrets, and accepts his fate as Mahito expresses mock gratitude. Yuji punches through the domain's barrier from outside—exploiting its weakness against external attacks—forcing Mahito to touch Sukuna's soul within Yuji; Sukuna punishes Mahito with a deep slash, declaring he cares only for Megumi and warning there won't be a second time.

The domain collapses, and a gravely wounded Mahito enlarges himself with his last reserves, but Yuji lands a Divergent Fist that pops his body like a balloon; Mahito flees underground to the sewers. There, Mahito reflects on Sukuna's overwhelming presence despite lower cursed energy, anticipates a curse era upon his full resurrection, but fixates on endlessly killing Yuji's soul next time.

In flashback, Nanami recalls his depressing life as a salaryman after abandoning sorcery due to its sacrificial demands, only to return after helping a baker with a curse. Back in the present at the morgue, a collapsed Yuji regrets killing the transfigured humans; Nanami explains Yuji's domain entry saved him by provoking Sukuna and calls for backup.
