Jujutsu Kaisen Episode 18: Sage

Megumi dashes through a temple building, evading a barrage of cursed energy-infused arrows fired by Noritoshi Kamo, whose Blood Manipulation technique allows the arrows to defy physics in their trajectory. Megumi's Divine Dogs shikigami block initial shots, while Toads from his Unknown Abyss domain catch others with their tongues; he snaps one arrow's tip, splattering blood on the wall and confirming its unnatural path.

In an open area, Noritoshi anticipates Megumi's next move, recognizing his shikigami patterns, but Megumi summons Nue, which strikes with amplified electricity after water from Max Elephant floods the corridor, forcing Noritoshi outside. Noritoshi, driven by memories of protecting his mother—an illegitimate Kamo heir legitimized for her potent blood—resists paralysis and binds Nue with Crimson Binding Cross, then charges at Megumi as they clash head-on.

Suddenly, massive branches erupt, interrupting their duel; Toge Inumaki flees from them, using Cursed Speech to urgently command Megumi and Noritoshi to run. The students cornered by the special grade cursed spirit Hanami, a towering wooden entity, as it declares its wish to protect the planet by having sorcerers "die and become sages" for the earth.

A wall of talismans burns red, signaling the Goodwill Event's abrupt end amid the unregistered curse invasion. Juzo, a curse user, deploys a specialized curtain barrier that excludes Satoru Gojo specifically while allowing others entry; Gojo stays behind as Principal Gakuganji and Utahime confront Juzo inside. Gakuganji wields an electric guitar as his cursed tool, ordering Utahime to prioritize rescuing the students while he holds off Juzo. Principal Gakuganji recalls earlier providing Noritoshi curse bait targeting Yuji Itadori, but Hanami swiftly exorcises that spirit upon arrival.
