Jujutsu Kaisen Episode 8: Boredom

Megumi and Nobara run an errand for Maki during a break from training when they are suddenly confronted by two students from Kyoto Jujutsu High: the massive third-year Aoi Todo and Mai Zen'in, Maki's sister.

Todo grabs Megumi and demands to know his type in women, insisting they could become best friends if their tastes align; Megumi responds that he seeks someone with an **unshakable character**, prompting Todo to declare him **boring**, burst into tears over the perceived insult to his kindness, and launch a brutal physical assault on him.

Meanwhile, Mai shoots Nobara in the leg with a gun, mocking her and Tokyo students while flashing her weapon; Nobara collapses but rises after Maki intervenes, leading to a tense scuffle where Nobara uses Maki as a distraction and demands Mai's summer uniform as compensation.

The sisters bicker over who's more useless—Maki for lacking cursed energy and needing special glasses and tools to fight, or Mai for her reliance on guns—before Todo drags Mai away so they can attend a meet-and-greet with his favorite pop idol, Takada-chan; Mai leaves Nobara with a taunting message about her skills.

Panda had earlier voiced concerns about Principal Gakuganji bringing aggressive students like Todo, who previously exorcised curses during the Night Parade of a Hundred Demons on the Kyoto-Shinjuku line.

Satoru Gojo meets Gakuganji, the Kyoto principal revealed as one of those who approved the mission against the special-grade curse that "killed" Yuji; Gojo taunts him disrespectfully about the old guard's obsolescence, predicting the coming age will exceed special-grade sorcerers and dismantle conservative jujutsu society.

Gakuganji grows irritated and departs early since Principal Yaga is delayed two hours, asking student Miwa for tea only for her to rush off for a photo with Gojo; Todo successfully meets Takada-chan at the event.

One month later, Yuji arrives at a theater scene of a gruesome triple homicide where the victims' heads are stretched and mangled by a stitched-face curse.
