Full recap

A newscopter reports that **Jaku City is being destroyed**, with about a third of the city already flattened as heroes continue evacuating civilians through the chaos. Back at the battle, **Endeavor** keeps attacking **Tomura Shigaraki** with Jet Burn, but Shigaraki repeatedly evades the flames in midair.

As the fight escalates, **Near High-End Nomu** suddenly reappear, forcing many of the surrounding heroes to split off and fight them instead. Endeavor keeps pressing Shigaraki, but Shigaraki lands a devastating counterattack that sends Endeavor crashing into **Ryukyu**, knocking both of them down.

With the other heroes occupied, the battlefield becomes more dangerous for **Eraser Head** and the others still holding the line. Shigaraki realizes that as long as Eraser Head is watching him, his own power is being suppressed, and he immediately changes course to target Eraser Head directly.

**Gran Torino** rushes in to intercept him, but **Deku** reaches Shigaraki first and stops him just in time. Bakugo also joins the fight, and the two students throw themselves into the battle to keep Shigaraki from reaching Eraser Head.

Shigaraki then focuses his attention on Deku, using the stolen **Search** ability to zero in on him. The villains’ communications are disrupted in the confusion, but Shigaraki still tries to force his way through the heroes and seize Deku.

Shigaraki speaks in a way that shocks the heroes around him, calling Deku by a deeply personal-sounding term, and then declares that he will not be controlled by his master’s will. He rejects that influence and insists on surpassing it himself, even while fighting against Deku, Bakugo, Endeavor, and Gran Torino at once.

Elsewhere, **Gigantomachia** begins moving with the League of Villains members riding on him, heading toward the battle line. The heroes trying to stop him are pushed back, and the situation becomes even worse when the villains hidden on or around him interfere from within the chaos.

On the Gigantomachia front, **Mt. Lady** struggles to hold him back, but she is steadily forced in retreat. **Midnight** is thrown hard to the ground during the struggle and, clearly badly injured, manages to contact **Yaoyorozu** and tell her to create large quantities of anesthetic so the heroes can use it against Gigantomachia.

Before the call can continue, Midnight is cut off and has to turn to face incoming enemies herself. Realizing the gravity of the situation, Yaoyorozu understands that her teacher is in serious danger, and she and the other students decide they cannot flee; instead, they prepare to fight and coordinate a plan to support the heroes.
