My Hero Academia Episode 119: Encounter, Part 2

The episode centers on the heroes’ struggle across multiple battlefields as Shigaraki’s destruction spreads and the evacuation effort collapses into chaos. The most immediate focus is on Jaku City, where Endeavor, Deku, Bakugo, and other heroes finally come face-to-face with Shigaraki as he targets **One For All**.

The episode opens with the aftermath of Shigaraki’s **Decay** attack tearing through Jaku City and overwhelming communication lines, leaving the Police Force HQ unable to reach Endeavor or the other heroes. In the ruined city, the hospital has been engulfed, and the destruction makes it hard for anyone to see what is happening. Meanwhile, the battle at Gunga Mountain Villa continues, with Tsukuyomi carrying the unconscious Hawks past Fat Gum and toward the medical team in the rear guard. Elsewhere in the same larger conflict, Cementoss is forced back by Geten’s ice, blocks a volley of icicles with his own cement, and then works with Mt. Lady, who smashes the ice away and clears a path for the heroes on the ground.

At the villa, the fighting grows even more chaotic when Himiko Toga appears after taking on the appearance of a hero and begins attacking people in a violent rampage, driven by her anger. Nearby, Mr. Compress and Dabi watch as Gigantomachia’s hand begins to emerge from beneath the ground. These events unfold alongside the continuing clash between the heroes and the Paranormal Liberation Front.

Back in Jaku City, Endeavor tells his allies that he is fighting Shigaraki, and Deku realizes Shigaraki is specifically after **One For All**. Deku then decides to use himself as bait so Shigaraki will chase him instead of the civilians. He moves back toward the city with Bakugo alongside him, and Bakugo makes it clear he wants a chance to settle the score with Shigaraki for the earlier kidnapping. When Deku informs Endeavor that he is the villain’s target, Shigaraki responds by destroying their communication devices, cutting off coordination.

Shigaraki then appears directly in front of Deku and Bakugo, prepared to take **One For All**, but Gran Torino intervenes and saves them. Endeavor and Ryukyu attack Shigaraki next, now that Aizawa’s Erasure is limiting his Quirks, but they discover that Shigaraki’s terrifying physical power is not a Quirk effect at all; it is his own body, comparable to the Nomu. Gran Torino tells Deku and Bakugo to stay back while the heroes handle the fight, but the situation worsens again when a group of Nomu suddenly rises from underground.

The episode ends with the battlefield still spiraling further out of control, the heroes forced to deal with Shigaraki’s overwhelming power, and the various separate fights continuing to collide into one larger disaster.
