My Hero Academia Episode 24: Fight On, Iida

Izuku is brought to Recovery Girl’s temporary medical office, where she tells him that he has severely damaged his arm and needs surgery. She scolds him for pushing his body beyond its limits and also criticizes All Might for encouraging him to keep going.

Tenya, Ochaco, Minoru, and Tsuyu rush in to check on Izuku, but Recovery Girl quickly sends them out because the other tournament matches have been postponed while the arena is repaired.

The episode then follows the Sports Festival bracket as the next battles begin. In one match, Tenya Iida faces off against Shiozaki and wins by using his speed to force her out of bounds. In another, Tokoyami defeats Mina Ashido when Dark Shadow overwhelms her and drives her out of the ring.

At the same time, Recovery Girl performs surgery on Izuku’s injured arm. When he wakes up, she explains that his right arm has been badly scarred and that she will not keep healing injuries like this for him in the future, forcing him to find a safer way to use his power.

After that, Bakugo fights Kirishima in another tournament match. Kirishima hardens himself to withstand Bakugo’s attacks, but Bakugo gradually overwhelms him with repeated explosions and wins the match.

The semifinals begin with Iida versus Todoroki. Iida attacks quickly and tries to use his speed to carry Todoroki out of bounds, but Todoroki freezes Iida’s engines and wins the match.

Near the end of the episode, Iida tries to contact his brother, but he receives news that his brother has been attacked while on duty. The episode ends with a new villain, the Hero Killer Stain, being shown in connection with the attack.
