My Hero Academia Episode 68: Let`s Go, Gutsy Red Riot

On Espa Way, two villains with Gigantification Quirks cause destruction. Nejire appears, charges her Quirk to 30 Output, and uses her Super Move, Nejire Wave, to knock both villains down. Uravity and Froppy then follow up with a joint Super Move called Meteor Fafrotskies. The No. 9 Hero, Ryukyu, congratulates her trainees and mentions they might get involved in an investigation led by Sir Nighteye.

Meanwhile, Tomura and Overhaul meet underground. Tomura complains about the journey, and Overhaul explains the precautions the Yakuza take to avoid authorities. Mimic asks if Tomura is serious about joining them, but Tomura states he has conditions, emphasizing that the League of Villains will not be subservient and he wants to know Overhaul's plan. Tomura reaches into his pocket, prompting Chronostasis and Mimic to hold him down and threaten him. Tomura remains unfazed, comparing the value of a Yakuza member to that of Big Sis Magne or Compress's arm. Overhaul calls off his followers, and Tomura pulls out a mysterious bullet, claiming it is central to the Yakuza's plan.

In Esuha City, Fat Gum patrols with his trainees, Suneater and Red Riot. Red Riot thanks Fat Gum for taking him in, while Suneater recalls Red Riot begging him in the dorms. Fat Gum teases Suneater about his weak heart, and Suneater expresses a desire to go home. A group of thieves flees a crime scene. Fat Gum captures three of them, but one escapes using a Quirk similar to Edgeshot's. Suneater quickly subdues this thief using his Manifest Quirk, which allows him to manifest characteristics of food he has eaten, using octopus tentacles and a clam husk to knock out the criminal.

The crowd cheers for Fat Gum and Suneater, but Suneater becomes embarrassed. Another criminal in the crowd shoots Suneater with a Quirk-cancelling bullet, similar to the one used on Mr. Compress. At his meeting with Tomura, Overhaul states he wants to use these weapons to change the status quo, aiming to refine the method of stealing Quirks.

The villain also shoots Red Riot, but the bullet bounces off his hardened skin. Red Riot pursues the fleeing villain while Suneater realizes his Quirk won't activate. Red Riot chases the criminal into an alley, where the villain attacks with small blades on his arm. Red Riot's Quirk easily blocks the attack, and he knocks the villain down with Red Counter. Red Riot checks on the villain, but his naivety allows the criminal to use a Quirk-enhancing drug, creating long, powerful blades that pierce Red Riot's body.

While Suneater regroups with the police, Red Riot struggles as his hardening is penetrated. He recalls a conversation with classmates about his one-dimensional Quirk, and how one of them claimed that those who refuse to go down are the strongest heroes. As more blades rush towards him, Red Riot activates his maximum hardness with a new move called Unbreakable. The villain tries to focus all his blades at one point, but Unbreakable bulldozes through them. Red Riot finishes the villain with another Super Move, Red Gauntlet.

The effects of Unbreakable and the Quirk-enhancing drug wear off. Red Riot is victorious, but the villain reverts to a cowardly state. Red Riot's naivety allows the villain to regain composure and nearly escape, but Fat Gum cuts him off and captures him using his Fat Absorption Quirk. Fat Gum reminds Red Riot that a hero must make villains lose their will to fight.

Fat Gum and the citizens commend Red Riot on his debut. Red Riot reflects on his past cowardice and realizes his improvement. Red Riot, Suneater, and Fat Gum regroup with the police. Fat Gum prepares to take his trainees to the hospital, expressing concern about the Quirk-stopping drugs.

The next day at school, Red Riot's classmates congratulate him on his debut, which is featured in the news. Ochaco and Tsuyu are also shown in the news. While others are carefree, Izuku feels a weight on his shoulders related to Eri.
