The work study students from U.A. attend a meeting of heroes gathered by Sir Nighteye and leave with new resolve.
Full recap
Izuku, Eijiro, Ochaco, and Tsuyu leave school for their respective Hero Work-Studies and find themselves heading in the same direction. They eventually meet up with three older students and arrive at a building belonging to a hero named Sir Nighteye. Many Pro Heroes are already there, including Ryukyu, Fat Gum, Gran Torino, Rock Lock, Kesagiri Man, Mr. Brave, and Eraser Head, gathered for a meeting hosted by Sir Nighteye.
One of the older students asks Ryukyu what is happening, and Ryukyu explains that they have been included in a special case. Sir Nighteye announces they will discuss a Yakuza organization called the Shie Hassaikai. The meeting begins, and Sir Nighteye's sidekicks explain they started tailing the Yakuza after an incident involving another group and the Hassaikai's fight against the League of Villains.
Gran Torino is involved in investigating the League's activities and tells Izuku he has gotten involved in something serious. Rock Lock questions why students are present, but Fat Gum defends his trainees, revealing they are directly involved in the case. Fat Gum then announces that one of the older students, Tamaki, was shot with a bullet that harms Quirks.
Eraser Head explains that his own power can temporarily stop Quirks without permanent damage, but these bullets cause significant harm to a person's Quirk Factor. Tamaki was able to heal over time, suggesting the bullets are still in a testing phase. Sir Nighteye states that the Shie Hassaikai are part of a large crime ring distributing drugs, including Quirk enhancers. He mentions that a villain the Ryukyu Agency fought had used such an item.
Fat Gum reveals that the Quirk-canceling bullets contained blood and cell samples from a human. Sir Nighteye adds that Izuku and another student named Mirio encountered a girl named Eri, who had bandages on her legs, and that she is the daughter of a man named Overhaul. This information casts a dark tone over the conference, as Izuku and Mirio realize the significance of leaving the girl behind. Both stand up and declare they will save and protect the girl next time.
Sir Nighteye's plan is to use the assembled heroes to investigate known Hassaikai properties. He emphasizes the need to find the girl's location and obtain solid evidence before acting, to prevent the Yakuza from becoming aware of the investigation. Eraser Head asks Sir Nighteye to use his foresight for information, but Nighteye refuses, stating he might foresee someone's imminent death.
After a somber exchange, the meeting concludes with all the heroes agreeing to investigate. The students from U.A. High School gather, saddened by the girl's situation. Eraser Head approaches them and encourages them to keep fighting, expressing belief that they can save the girl. Sir Nighteye and Gran Torino discuss Izuku, and Nighteye admits the young boy reminds him of another hero, All Might. Izuku regains his confidence and is determined to rescue Eri.
Meanwhile, Eri's new caretaker tries to cheer her up. He worries about facing consequences from Overhaul if he fails to care for her or if she tries to escape again. She cries in bed, recalling Izuku's warm touch, a kindness she had not felt before, as she suffers under Overhaul's watch.
