My Hero Academia Episode 74: Lemillion
The League of Villains stay true to their name in their fight. Meanwhile, Togata catches up to Chisaki and Eri first...
Full recap
The episode opens with a brief look at the uneasy cooperation between the League of Villains and the Shie Hassaikai, then shows that alliance beginning to fracture as the villains and heroes clash separately. It then follows Mirio Togata as he pushes deeper into the hideout alone to reach Eri and the group led by Overhaul.
Earlier in the episode, Himiko Toga and Twice are shown resisting the yakuza arrangement and confronting Irinaka Joi, while Eraser Head and Izuku Midoriya capitalize on the confusion to shut Irinaka down. The story then shifts to Mirio, who races ahead and catches up to Overhaul, Chronostasis, and Eri before anyone else can reach them.
Mirio is stopped by two members of the Eight Bullets, Shin Nemoto and Deidoro Sakaki, who attack him with abilities that try to expose his secrets and throw off his balance. Even while pressured by both of them, Mirio keeps fighting, breaks through their defense, and knocks them out. He then closes in on Chronostasis, beats him to Eri, and takes her away from the others.
Once Mirio has Eri, he faces Overhaul directly. Overhaul’s power allows him to disassemble and reassemble matter, and he uses it aggressively in the fight, creating a dangerous battlefield with spikes and reconstructed structures while trying to trap Mirio. Mirio manages to stay ahead of him for most of the exchange and keeps pressing the attack even when Overhaul tries to overwhelm him.
The episode also explains that Overhaul’s group has developed bullets that erase Quirks, and that they only have a small number of them. During the fight, a bullet is fired at Eri, and Mirio throws himself in the way to protect her, taking the hit instead. As a result, his Quirk is erased, but he continues fighting anyway using only his physical skill and determination.
By the end of the episode, Mirio is badly injured but still trying to hold on against Overhaul while protecting Eri. The final beat brings Izuku Midoriya into the scene, arriving just as Mirio’s fight has reached its most desperate point.
