Prison Break Episode 15: By the Skin and the Teeth
As Lincoln is about to be executed, he briefly sees his father in the viewing room. A phone call from judge Kessler delays the execution. After reviewing the newly surfaced evidence, the judge orders the exhumation of Steadman's body. Michael creates a new, more dangerous, break-out plan, involving going through the prison yard. An accident puts Michael's new plan in danger.

Lincoln’s execution is set in motion, but at the last moment Judge Kessler orders a two-week delay after receiving new evidence about the case. Lincoln briefly thinks he sees his father in the viewing area, but the execution does not go forward.
The new evidence leads the judge to order Terrence Steadman’s body exhumed so the remains can be identified more carefully. Meanwhile, in the prison, Michael shifts to a new escape approach that involves moving through the psych ward and a drain route to the infirmary rather than the earlier plan.
To test the new route, Sucre gets Michael a guard uniform through his cousin in the laundry, and Michael uses it to move around the prison and inspect the path. During the attempt, he is burned badly when he comes into contact with a steam pipe, forcing medical treatment and damaging part of the tattooed map on his back.
By the end of the episode, Michael realizes that an important section of the escape route has been destroyed, putting the new plan in serious danger.
