Prison Break Episode 21: Go

Michael forces Warden Pope at knifepoint to order Lincoln’s transfer to the infirmary, then knocks Pope out, ties him up, and locks him in a closet so the escape can proceed. Back in the prison, Michael returns to his cell and the group races to stay on schedule for the escape before the next count.

The inmates slip through the hole in Michael’s cell and move through the planned route toward the infirmary, where they secure the guard and free Lincoln. They then use the improvised setup with the hose and cable to start getting out through the infirmary window and toward the outer wall.

As the escape unfolds, they are forced to adapt when another inmate insists on coming with them, and the group continues moving one by one toward the wall. Tension rises as the escapees make their way over, with one of them collapsing from his earlier wound and another falling after the cable gives way under his weight.

Meanwhile, the discovery that Pope has been trapped triggers the alarm and brings guards onto the escape. The escape turns chaotic as Michael and the others are exposed mid-flight, leaving some to get across while others are caught or left behind.

Outside the prison plotline, Veronica follows a lead that points her toward Montana, but begins to suspect that someone she trusted may actually be working against her. Dr. Sarah also quietly wrestles with whether to leave a light on and the door open for Michael, reflecting her uncertainty about where she stands as he carries out the plan.
