Prison Break Episode 3: Cell Test

Michael first checks whether Sucre can be trusted by using a fake cell phone as bait, and Sucre passes the test by not reporting it. Michael then tells Sucre about his escape plan, but Sucre refuses to get involved because he is close to parole and wants no trouble, so he asks for a cell transfer. Michael loses that part of his plan when Sucre is moved out, and his new cellmate turns out to be Haywire, who is immediately unsettling and difficult to deal with.

Elsewhere in the prison, Michael’s effort to move the plan forward hits another snag when outside pressure forces John Abruzzi to shift his approach and align himself more closely with Michael. Abruzzi also deals harshly with Theodore Bagwell, removing him from the equation for the time being. Veronica continues digging into Lincoln’s case and meets with a woman who may help her, while Lincoln’s family situation remains tense as the people around him keep closing in on the truth.
