Full recap
Sucre forces Michael, C-Note, and T-Bag at gunpoint to hand over the backpack of money, and the others are left furious after he drives off with it. Michael and C-Note then go back inside the house, give the hostages a knife so they can eventually free themselves, and discover that T-Bag has disappeared, prompting C-Note to leave as well.
Michael takes a police walkie-talkie from the kitchen and heads into the woods, where he meets Sucre and reveals that the gunpoint confrontation was an act they staged to fool the others. As they continue on, they hear police activity over the radio and hurry to cross a river on a fallen tree, but Sucre slips and gets his foot trapped beneath submerged logs. Michael struggles to free him, then ties a rope to Sucre’s motorcycle to lift the log enough for Sucre to pull free; the two escape across the river just as police close in behind them.
The bag turns out to contain magazines instead of cash, because T-Bag switched the bags earlier, ruining the plan to get the money. Bellick and Geary are shown in a Lyman, Wyoming bar watching news coverage about the escapees, indicating they are still hunting for them.
Meanwhile, other storylines unfold outside the main escape: Sara returns home and finds evidence of a setup involving drugs and a threatening intruder, then narrowly escapes an attempted killing; Internal Affairs questions Mahone about his conduct; and Lincoln continues trying to reach LJ while facing danger from the people watching him.
